DevOps Engineer
What you will do:
- Work as part of our senior engineering team managing our cloud-based server infrastructure
- Develop and maintain mission-critical information extraction, analysis, and management systems
- Provide direct and responsive support for urgent analytic needs
- Translates loosely defined requirements into solutions
- Use coding languages or scripting methodologies to solve a problem with a custom workflow
- Collaborate with others on the project to brainstorm about the best way to tackle a complex technological infrastructure, security, or development problem
- Contribute to team and organizational improvements in process and infrastructure
- Perform incremental testing actions on code, processes, and deployments to identify ways to streamline execution and minimize errors encountered
- Effectively use tools and ingenuity to identify and fix defects before they become a problem
- Produce technical documentation of our server and network infrastructure
This position is for you if you have:
- Significant experience with Linux operating system environments
- Familiarity with container technologies, especially Docker
- Experience administering and optimizing MySql
- Knowledge of at least one programming language
- Knowledge of best practices and IT operations in an always-up, always-available service
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Process-oriented with great documentation skills
- A strong internal motivation for continuous learning
- Accurate, reliable work

- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving aptitude
- Attention to detail
